And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Reverend Judith R. Williams

Rev. Judith Renee Williams was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the second of three children born to Hattie M. Williams.

Rev. Williams attended Albany State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She has also earned 18 credits toward her Master’s Degree from Nyack Alliance Seminary, Nyack, N. Y. Her spiritual journey began at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York under the pastorate of the late Rev. Robert A. Laws.

Upon graduating from college, she joined with the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Albany, New York under the pastorate of the Rev. Robert W. Dixon.  There she answered God’s Call to the Ushers’ Ministry and was elevated to Youth Ushers’ Supervisor.

In 1994, she moved her membership from Mount Calvary to the Shiloh Baptist Church in Tarrytown under the pastorate of the late Rev. Donna Lyn Smith-Taylor.

A monumental point in Shiloh’s history, was in May of 2002, when Rev. Williams was ordained as their first female Deacon.  Then in September of 2011, after accepting God’s Call to the Preaching Ministry, she was licensed as Shiloh’s first female Minister. Rev. Williams was subsequently ordained September 15, 2019; and installed as Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Tarrytown, Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Rev. Williams has a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and currently serves as Shiloh’s Evangelistic Outreach Trainer and Coordinator.  Her teaching brings a clear understanding of Biblical Truths and emphasizes the importance of Prayer, Christian Education, and putting our hands to the plow for the Lord. One of her favorite scriptures is Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

She strongly believes that achieving victory in every circumstance of one’s life is only possible by Salvation through Jesus Christ.
